GD Mark – It’s my standard

Official web site of Good Design(GD) Selection 2006 has launched.

KIDP is a non-profit organization that was established by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy in order to drive design research and development, to improve the corporate competitiveness, and to create national image and brand power.

Since 1985, KIDP has been granting GD (Good Design) mark to good design products by strict judging based on the criteria of appearance, functionality, and economic efficiency, etc.

This year we included Communication Design and Material & Surface Processing Design into our field selection, followed by Product, Packaging and Environmental Design.

Also, Selected entries will be allowed to carry a jointly branded design label with GD(Good Design Selection) and ADA(Australian Design Awards) as the conclusion of mutual recognition between GD and ADA.
