IR D5 uses ‘Infrared’ to provide a similar effect as solar heat to dehydrate food. The internal material of the dehydrator is made of stainless steel to maximize the penetration and reflectance of near-infrared ray (NIR). Users can select the drying method which are solar-dried or only air-dried. The heating system is placed in the rear, by this, we’ve minimized the temperature difference among the trays and overall areas. As the temperature difference is at its minimum and uses NIR, the dehydration time is reduced by 20% compared to our previous model. There are 5 slide in type trays and are made of stainless steel as well, they can be modified for various sizes. Ideal fan balance and internally closed construction has reduced the noise.
