As a mecca of energy that takes advantage of tidal power generation, the Tidal Power Cultural Pavilion has value as a cultural space for the local community with its symbolism that comprises the history, culture, and nature of Sihwa. Expressing the limitless energy from tidal power with Möbius strip that represents infinity (∞), the space is designed to bring publicity to Sihwa area and promote an understanding of clean energy. With the topic of “Blue Sea and Energy of Hope”, the exhibition describes a variety of clean energies, enhances understanding of the difficult concept of energy through analog experiences and operating models, and arouses the curiosity of the audience.
