Features

This work newly proposes and unifies all visuals surrounding the Hyundai Department Store’s Food Hall, from its naming, logo, package, and furniture, to its space production.  The new BI is to reflect Hyundai Department Store’s respect for our land and culture, and its expertise and pride in food. This is why we have named it the  and brought the Korean logotype to the forefront. We derived a Korean logotype that is both traditionally Korean and simultaneously modern, and constructed the basic BI with three symbols symbolizing nature: sun, earth, and water. The logo character was derived from Korean and applied to its signage, and its morphological characteristics was reflected to the entire store furniture and space production.
