Global PR Film of LG MTV (monitor TV) LG MTV is a multifunctional product that allows a user to enjoy TV, PC, games and work at the same time. The design challenge was to integrate four utility displays in one monitor and to make the product USP easy to understand. The film showed a 3D dog and an alien character - thinking outside the box compared to general PR films - to concentrate the consumer attention as a business to consumer PR film. It is a narrative PR film that conveys the product USP effectively. The world’s largest visual special effects team from ILM (Industrial Light & Magic), established by George Lucas, the director of Star Wars, worked with us to depict the aliens, spaceship and robot dog. To compose more cinematic storyline, director of photography Jeong-Hoon Jung, from the film ‘Old Boy’, took charge of the photography. These efforts all resulted in a well-made film that enlivens the characteristics of the product and present the fun of a B to C film.
