According to customer research, the most inefficient movement in one’s housework within residential space is pointed out as the movement regarding the laundry. It is because various actions of pickup/washing/drying/settling/storing of laundry is scattered and located in every place in the house. By arranging furniture to be used in both sides between the bathroom and the laundry, ‘bathroom/laundry double-sided storage’, a furniture system which greatly reduces the movement regarding laundry, is proposed. 1. Resolving Movement of Pickup/Washing of Laundry : It was planned to arrange a laundry pickup storage in the bathroom space which laundry occurs the most, and to have it picked up right away from the laundry room to the washing machine. 2. Resolving the Movement of Arrangement/Storage/Use of Laundry : It was planned to enable laundry to be taken out right away from the bathroom if laundry(towel, underwear, and etc) washed in the laundry room is arranged and put in the double-sided storage from the laundry room 3. Load and Right place of Storage in Bathroom : In the bathroom side, a withdrawing shelf which taken off clothes can be temporarily put in and a scale in the bottom part for measuring the weight right away were arranged, so really necessary functions were added 4. Load and Right place of Storage in Laundry Room : The efficiency of space has been improved by purchasing hangers in the form of a drawer so simple laundry can be hung out in the laundry room.
