HYB chamber is a chamber where hybridization reactions of DNA or protein, which are spotted on biochip, occur. Such chamber will be installed on HYB cassette and put in an oven. HYB cassette is a cassette that has 10 HYB chambers on each.
First of all, HYB-CHAMBER/CASSETTE (75mm*110mm*5mm) is designed to minimize the size of HYB-CHAMBER/CASSETTE, which was the biggest problem for the competitor’s existing product. Secondly, competitor’s existing product is currently using bolts to close CHAMBER, and users have been experiencing many difficulties in working. We focused on minimizing hand bolts’ closing method for users’ convenience, considering the need of improvement since hand bolts’ size and interference were encountering problems. As a result, closing method was simplified with slide type structure. Thirdly, this product highly improved the inconveniency of (competitor’s) existing product, which required numerous tests since it could only take 2~5 CHAMBERS at a time, and designed it to be efficient and convenient that holds 10 CHAMBERS at a time. With this improvement, less time and manpower were needed, so numerous yet accurate tests could be done at once. Fourthly, as it increased efficiency of heat treatment at DNA test, and as it gained overall stability by using aluminum as a material for HYB-CHAMBER/CASSETTE, it is considered to have completely improved inconveniency and problems of the existing product
