인지하지 않던 사용자의 불편함을 일깨우다.

쓰임새에 미려함을 결부함으로써 삶의 질적 향상을 느끼게 하다.

화장실 이용 방법의 남녀 차에 의해 우리는 하루에도 몇 번씩 변기 시트를 올렸다 내렸다 하는 행동을 한다. 하지만 잡을 곳이 없는 시트를 올리고 내리는 이 행동은 변기 시트 아래쪽의 청결에 대해서 자주 개운치 않음을 느끼기 마련이다. 이에 청결함과 아울러 편리함, 미려함을 동시에 만족 할 만한 별도의 매개체가 필요하다는 생각을 하게 되었다. 또한, 이 제품을 사용하는 사람은 주로 남성일 것이지만 구매층은 여성이 많을 것을 예상, 쓰임새라는 사용성과 아울러 여성소비자의 구매욕구를 불러일으킬 수 있는 자연물을 소재로 한 감성적 이미지로 접근하였다.

Concept & Introduction

Happy wing_ toilet seat handle

This design opens our eyes to user inconveniences of which we were previously unaware. It improves the quality of our life by adding aesthetic beauty to the functionality of the product.

Due to the differences between men and women when using toilets, we raise and lower the toilet lid several times a day. We often feel worried about the cleanliness of the bottom part of the toilet lid. After reflecting on such daily behaviors, I concluded that we need a separate medium that can satisfy the need for cleanliness, convenience, and also the aesthetics of the toilet lid. In addition, I thought that most purchasers would be women, so I came up with designs offering great functionality and beauty, by using natural objects that would stimulate women’s aesthetic sensibility and induce them to buy the product.
